Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Santa Monica, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 18 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Beachside Location. An immediate opening is available for a qualified ER Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves working with diverse patient populations, managing complex cases, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Job Details Required Qualifications: CA state license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certification, at least 2 years of experience in emergency nursing, and experience with patient diagnoses such as stroke, trauma, cardiac emergencies, and other acute conditions. Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma level I and II facilities, community hospital experience, and familiarity with Epic charting system. Responsibilities include managing arterial lines, intubation, emergency medications, triage, and other advanced emergency nursing procedures. Candidates must have at least 1 year of travel or hospital experience prior to start and provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years. Float: Float rotation may be required. Submission requirements include responses to specific candidate questions, certification verification, and compliance with background and drug screening policies.
