Registered Nurse (RN) - Float

Registered Nurse PCU

Schedule: Day shifts; 3x12-hour shifts from 06:45 to 19:15.

Assignment Details: This is a float pool position that will not be assigned a home unit. The clinician will float between approximately 5 units, covering Med/Surg Intermediate and PCU departments, and assist at other facilities as needed.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in telemetry, cardiac telemetry, and neuro stepdown settings.
• Skills in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and management of various medical conditions including sepsis, strokes, and renal failure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in various intermediate care and telemetry settings.
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to dysrhythmias and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with pre/post cardiac catheterization care.
• Document patient care and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Float among assigned units as necessary to meet facility needs.
