Job Summary

\n

As a Multimedia Designer for HUE and No Nonsense , you will play a key role in bringing both brands’ creative visions to life across digital, social, and print platforms. With a strong focus on video content creation, editing, motion graphics, and graphic design, you will develop engaging visual content that supports seasonal campaigns, product launches, and ongoing marketing initiatives.

This is a hands-on, part-time contractor role for a versatile creative who can independently produce compelling social-first video content, motion graphics, and high-quality graphic design, while also contributing to photoshoots and other creative productions as needed.

What You’ll Do

\n

\n
• Content Creation: Concept, create, and edit engaging, social-first video content for Instagram, TikTok, paid social, and other digital platforms. Combine video, typography, and graphic design to tell compelling brand stories, with a strong understanding of trends, storytelling, pacing, and platform-specific best practices.
\n
• Video Editing & Motion Graphics: Edit footage and create motion graphics, animations, and dynamic visual content for social media, paid advertising, website, email, and other digital marketing channels.
\n
• Graphic Design: Create high-quality visual assets for social media, marketing campaigns, paid advertising, and other digital platforms, ensuring consistency with brand identities.
\n
• Photo Editing & Retouching: Edit and retouch campaign and product imagery to ensure consistency with brand standards.
\n
• Creative Production: Support the planning and execution of photoshoots and content productions, including product preparation, shot lists, scheduling, and on-set coordination.

Who You Are

\n

\n
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia design, content creation, motion graphics, or a related creative role, ideally within a fashion, lifestyle, retail brand, or creative agency.
\n
• Content Creation: Experience creating engaging, social-first video content, with a strong understanding of short-form storytelling, editing techniques, social media trends, and platform-specific formats.
\n
• Video & Motion: Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with strong video editing and motion graphics capabilities.
\n
• Graphic Design: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with a strong understanding of typography, composition, layout, and visual storytelling.
\n
• Creative Eye: A strong aesthetic sensibility and the ability to translate creative concepts into polished, on-brand visual content.
\n
• Versatility: Comfortable working across video, motion, and digital design, with the ability to adapt creative assets for different platforms and formats.
\n
• Organization: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Collaboration: A strong communicator and team player who can take creative direction, contribute ideas, and collaborate across departments.
\n
• Fashion & Trends: A genuine interest in fashion, lifestyle, digital content, and emerging creative trends.
\n
• AI & Emerging Tools: Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and an interest in using new technologies to enhance creative workflows.
\n
• On-Site Availability: Available to work on-site in New York City 2–3 days per week.
\n
• Bonus Skills: Experience with video capture, photography, or hands-on content production, including knowledge of lighting, composition, and camera operation. Experience supporting photoshoots and on-set production is also a plus.

• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing social-first video content, video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design work.
