Tryfacta is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for our client in York ME 03909. This is a 13-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please apply now!

Location: York ME 03909

Duration: 13-weeks

Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, night shift, 6:00 pm to 6:30 am, 3 -12 hours shifts per week

Pay rate: $35-$40/hr.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical Care Department.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report abnormal findings to the nursing staff.
• Perform EKGs and blood glucose testing using a glucometer.
• Assist with splinting and other basic patient-care procedures as directed.
• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and hospital policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care.
• Work required weekend rotations and variable shifts when needed.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/licensure in the State of Maine.
• Previous experience in a medical-surgical or acute-care setting preferred.
• Proficiency in EKG, vital signs, splinting, and glucometer testing.
• Demonstrated phlebotomy skills.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week on the night shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts.
• Availability for required weekend rotations and variable shifts as needed.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
