Track clinical quality outcomes, monitor patient safety efforts, and benchmark internal performance against external peers. Analyze qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources and synthesize results into meaningful reports and presentations. Develop and maintain performance measurement processes, including database development, benchmarking, KPI development, systems documentation, and reporting/dashboard deployment. Interact frequently with leadership and quality personnel to facilitate discussions of existing data products and assess unmet analytic needs and potential enhancements. Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and provide meaningful data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership. Develop key performance indicators through gathering requirements, defining specifications, and establishing goals or benchmarks. Manage complex datasets by identifying, aggregating, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sources in preparation for reporting use. Use analytical techniques to design, develop, and maintain reports, scorecards, and dashboards that provide insight to the organization. Conduct financial and operational analyses and interpret results to support business stakeholders in making strategic decisions. Support system-wide quality improvement efforts through collaboration with multi-disciplinary audiences, from executives to front line staff. Develop subject matter expertise around business and clinical operations and their relation to performance measurements. Conduct regular data mining and extraction from databases and tables. Prepare effective presentations and articulate findings and results to stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Mastery of desktop applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) [Required] Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to a variety of audiences throughout the organization [Required] Ability to effectively summarize data, present insights and facilitate discussion of results [Required] Initiative to work independently (self-direction) and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for maximum efficiency and effectiveness [Required] Attention to detail that ensures follow-through on all assigned projects [Required] Experience with data mining/extraction tools [Required] Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage efforts across multiple projects and re-establish priorities as necessary to effectively respond to time sensitive issues and meet deadlines [Required] Familiar with data visualization and statistical analysis tools (preferably Power BI, Qlik Products, Tableau, Minitab, R, Stata, or SAS) [Required] Familiar with data management tools and techniques (preferably MS Access and SQL) [Required] Knowledge of data extraction and analysis of current electronic medical records [Required] Knowledge and application of statistical analyses including financial variance and statistical significance [Preferred] Education Bachelor's [Required] Master's [Preferred] Field Of Study Business, Healthcare, Engineering, Information Systems, or Mathematics discipline Work Experience 1+ year in a healthcare organization [Preferred] 2+ years in a related analytic position [Preferred] Physical Requirements Physical Requirements - Pay Range $60,151.66 - $111,886.39 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
