Litigation Paralegal

A well-established professional services organization is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy litigation team in its Los Angeles office (zip 90071. This position plays a key role in managing case files, coordinating discovery, maintaining litigation schedules, and assisting attorneys throughout all stages of the litigation process, from initial case assessment through trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with eDiscovery platforms, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This is an onsite position during the initial onboarding and training period. Following successful completion of the introductory period, the schedule is expected to transition to four days in the office and one remote workday per week. Key Responsibilitie Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and post-trial activities Administer and coordinate electronic discovery processes, including document collection, review, production, and tracking Manage complex case calendars, court deadlines, hearing schedules, depositions, mediations, and other litigation-related events Draft, revise, and prepare pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and other case-related documents Maintain accurate litigation databases, case management systems, and electronic document repositories Organize, analyze, and summarize large volumes of records and case materials Coordinate with clients, expert witnesses, vendors, court personnel, and opposing counsel regarding case logistics and scheduling matters Assist with trial preparation by compiling exhibits, witness materials, trial binders, and related documentation Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules, scheduling orders, and procedural requirements Conduct factual and background research using available legal and investigative resources Prepare case summaries, chronologies, and reports to support litigation strategy and attorney review Handle multiple active matters simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy .Qualification Paralegal Certificate required Minimum of three years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or comparable legal environment Experience supporting commercial litigation, insurance defense, employment litigation, patent litigation, or related defense-oriented practice areas Demonstrated experience managing eDiscovery workflows and electronic document review platforms Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court filings, and discovery processes Proven ability to coordinate and prioritize competing deadlines in a deadline-driven setting Experience maintaining detailed case files, litigation calendars, and document management systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal professionals Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support software Familiarity with trial preparation, evidentiary materials, and case presentation technology preferred Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative legal team environment Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities .Work Schedul Full-time position Initial onboarding period requires daily in-office attendance Upon successful completion of the introductory period, schedule transitions to 4 days onsite / 1 day remot e Expected annual billable workload approximately 1,250 hour s #J-18808-Ljbffr
