Medical Assistant

We are seeking a versatile Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. This role is central to our ambulatory health delivery system, focusing on preventive care, health maintenance, and providing an exceptional patient experience in a safe, efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and clinical staff with daily operations, including rooming patients and capturing accurate vital signs.
• Perform essential clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, ECGs, and basic diagnostic testing.
• Manage patient phone calls and handle referral and tracking processes to ensure continuity of care.
• Support various health centers as needed (floating) and adapt to a flexible schedule including rotating weekends.
• Deliver care consistent with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of direct patient care experience.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License (required for travel between centers).
• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to bend, lift, stand, and walk for the duration of the shift.

Schedule & Availability

• Shifts range between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm based on operational needs.
• Flexibility to work weekends on a rotational basis is required.
