Seven Healthcare are seeking a Licensed Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire position in Hudson, WI. This role involves working in a dynamic pharmacy environment, providing essential pharmaceutical services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and effective medication management for patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

Accept and dispense prescription medications.
Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
Ensure the supply of medicines is within the law.
Verify that prescribed medicines are suitable for patients.
Maintain confidential records and manage patient records and pharmacy files.
Advise patients about medicines, including usage, reactions, and answer questions.
Provide consultation on the storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
Offer patient services such as smoking cessation, and blood pressure management.
Educate patients on handling medical devices.
Compound medications for internal or external use and prepare sterile solutions.
Supervise pharmacy staff and maintain inventory on supplies.
Identify and communicate drug-related problems with healthcare professionals.

Requirements of the Pharmacist

Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
Licensed by the Wisconsin state pharmacy board.
Non-sterile compounding preferred.
Experience with on call/overnight shifts is preferred.
