Job Description

We are currently seeking a self-motivated estimator who can independently manage multiple bids, generate accurate proposals, and contribute to the growth of the business. They need someone detail-oriented, comfortable interfacing with internal and external stakeholders, and willing to travel locally for site visits and pre-bid meetings. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing comprehensive and competitive proposals for both private and public construction projects, including those in the educational, institutional, hospitality, multi-family, and healthcare sectors. This role involves performing project take-offs, pricing materials and labor, and creating preliminary budgets. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to excelling in their position and contributing to the company’s goals. Candidates should live within approximately one hour of the Canonsburg office due to onsite requirements. this role has a salary range of 90-110k with possible flexibility for the right candidate.\nKey Responsibilities:\n•\tPrepare accurate and competitive estimates/proposals for commercial construction projects\n•\tComplete quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor and materials\n•\tReview bid packages and solicit vendor/subcontractor pricing\n•\tAnalyze project costs and assist with budgeting efforts\n•\tAttend pre-bid meetings and perform site visits as needed\n•\tCollaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and the Estimating team\n•\tSupport project handoff and pre-construction activities upon award
