The CAS Experience What working as a Center-Based Behavior Technician looks like Schedule & Stability Full-time, center-based role Must be comfortable providing a portion of services in home and/or community settings, as needed to meet MassHealth requirements Predictable weekday schedules Guaranteed hours , even if sessions are rescheduled Consistent routines and team collaboration Training, Support & Growth Paid onboarding and hands-on training Ongoing supervision from experienced BCBAs Paid RBT certification (training, exam, and supervision included) Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities Clear skill-based pathways for advancement Regular feedback and coaching to help you grow Recognition & Team Culture Performance-based pay increases every 6 months Annual bonuses for eligible BTs and RBTs Team appreciation weeks, celebrations, and local events A culture built on teamwork, inclusion, and encouragement Role Overview As a Center-Based Behavior Technician,you'llwork directly with young children (typically ages18 months-6 years) to support skill development through play-based, individualized ABA therapy.You'llbe part of a collaborative team that values creativity, consistency, and compassionate care. What You'll Do Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision Use play, movement, and creativity to engage children Collectaccuratesession data and progress notes Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to support each child's success Helpmaintaina safe, organized, and engaging therapy environment How Success Is Measured Success in this role is defined by: Consistent, compassionate engagement with children Accurate data collection and follow-through Openness to feedback and skill development Team collaboration and reliability Professionalism and positive attitude Pay Ranges (Based on Education & Experience) High School Diploma /Associate's Degree: $21.00 - $26.00/hour Bachelor's Degree: $22.00 - $26.00/hour Additional factors that may increase starting pay include: Prior experience working in ABA or related behavioral health settings Higher levels of education or relevant coursework Fluency inadditionallanguages that support the families we serve Advanced certifications or specialized training (e.g., RBT certification) Qualifications Minimum age of 18 High School diploma or GEDrequired Ability to meet the physical demands of the role , including: Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations throughout the session Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, which may include aggression, elopement, or self-injurious behaviors Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Willingness to support coverage at nearby centers if needed No prior ABA experiencerequired-we train you Experience That Transfers Well Childcare or education (nanny, preschool teacher, tutor, paraprofessional) Special education, psychology, sociology, or related studies Mental health or human services roles Camp counselor, volunteer, or youth program experience Why CAS Is Different We intentionally design BT roles that: Offer stability without burnout Provide real training-not just shadowing Create clear paths for growth and advancement Recognize and reward your impact Not Ready to Make the Jump - but Know Someone Who Is?
