Pediatric Ent Assistant / Associate Professor

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTEs), non-tenure clinical track Assistant / Associate Professor Pediatric ENT position in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. We are seeking academically motivated, full-time faculty members who have completed otolaryngology residency training, a pediatric ENT fellowship, and are board-certified / eligible. The practice focus for these positions will be pediatric ENT.

The selected candidates will contribute to the department's mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other services.

Position key accountabilities include commitment to patient care, research, fellow, and medical student education, clinical, and collaborative research. Individuals must demonstrate excellence in clinical medicine, teaching, and scholarly activities during their training and practice.

This is a unique opportunity for those interested in academic and community pediatric otolaryngology. The positions will be based at a new integrated pediatric multi-specialty clinic and hospital in suburban Houston. Approximately 20% of the effort will be at the Texas Medical Center with resident education and research opportunities. Fellowship training in ENT is required.

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License, be board-certified, or board-eligible.
