Soc/Clin Research Assistant

Position Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator will provide participant follow‑up support for active clinical trials conducted within the Institute for Trauma Recovery. Responsibilities include contacting participants for scheduled follow‑up assessments, coordinating survey completion, maintaining accurate study documentation, and supporting protocol adherence. The position will work closely with the UNC Institute for Trauma Recovery study team to monitor retention and address barriers to participant completion. This role will help ensure timely, high‑quality data collection and compliance with study and regulatory requirements. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Management Preferences Experience coordinating clinical research studies or participant follow‑up activities. Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or human subjects research regulations. Excellent organizational skills in study documentation. Strong communication skills for participant engagement and retention efforts. Experience with REDCap, EDC systems, or clinical trial data management platforms. Special Physical/Mental Requirements Not Applicable.
