Private Client Associate - Chicago

Thompson Coburn LLP is seeking an associate attorney with 4-6 years of estate planning experience to join its Private Client practice group in the Chicago office. Ideal candidates will have experience with sophisticated estate planning matters including gift, estate, and related income tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning and family business succession planning. Experience preparing gift, estate and/or fiduciary income tax returns is a plus. The position requires strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills. In addition, candidates must have the ability to function both independently and within a team. The ability to establish, develop and maintain long-term relationships enabling client development and networking is essential. The salary range for this position in our Chicago office is $220,000 - $260,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training and other job-related factors. The range listed is just one of Thompson Coburn’s total compensation and benefits package for associates, which includes productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
