Pipeline Controller

The pipeline controller position is in Brookshire, Texas. Newly hired employees will receive on‑the‑job training covering safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and other industry‑specific processes. Job Responsibilities Safely and efficiently remotely operate the WhiteWater pipeline systems in compliance with DOT and state regulatory agencies. Remote start and stop pumps/compressors and operate valves. Monitor and control the movement of product through multiple lines and facilities. Monitor storage field activity. Analyze changing conditions and alarms, making necessary adjustments. Determine the accurate time of pipeline events (deliveries, noms, batches, etc.). Quickly detect abnormal operations and use critical judgment to react accordingly. Monitor pipeline integrity and coordinate with field personnel on all maintenance activities. Communicate with field personnel, scheduling groups, customers, and suppliers to maximize efficiency, safety, quality, and customer service. Requirements & Qualifications Prefer minimum of 60 college credit hours with oil and gas field operations/plant experience or the equivalent military experience; on‑the‑job experience operating as a pipeline controller or board operator in the oil and gas or chemical industry is required. 2–3 years of chemical, oil, or gas industry experience. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Successful completion of all pre‑employment screening requirements (background checks, DOT drug screen, etc.). Team player who interacts well with co‑workers, customers, and the public. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to sit or stand at the console for a 12‑hour shift or longer, with occasional breaks. Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with procedures and processes pertaining to WhiteWater assets. Ability to evacuate the control center in an emergency and immediately report to the designated alternate control center.
