X Ray Tech / Medical Assistant

Radiographer/Xray TechnicianInnovaCare Management Services Company, LLCUnder the direction of a physician or APP, performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility. MA duties, including patient assessment, vitals, medication administration and lab draws. Demonstrates customer service and patient care excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. Alternating weekends and holidays. Mixture of 6, 8 & 12 hour shifts with alternating weekends and holidays.MA/Xray Tech Duties:Operate and adjust imaging equipment.Explain procedures to patients.Position patients and equipment.Maintains exam rooms by stocking exam rooms with necessary supplies. Maintains equipment and reports any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or appropriate service provider.Fast-paced work environmentWill be trained to do BAT and URINE DRUG SCREENAsking medical historiesPreparing patients for examinationAssisting the physician during examsCollecting and preparing laboratory specimensPerforming basic laboratory testsPreparing and administering medications as directed by a physicianTransmitting prescription refills as directedDrawing blood (will train)Taking electrocardiogramsRemoving sutures and changing dressingsAdministering TBBenefits:401(k)Health insuranceWorking 3 -12 hours shiftsInnovacare participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
