About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Medical/Surgical Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU. - Must have EPIC EMR/charting experience. - At least 1 year of travel nursing experience. - 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years. - Experience with nurse-patient ratios of 1:4-6. Description: The nurse will be assigned to a medical surgical unit upon start. The populations served may include Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Client. The RN will be assigned to vacancies that best match their experience as applicable. The position requires 36 hours per week or 3 - 12 hour shifts. Availability to work every other weekend is expected. Floating to other equivalent units may be required as needed. Typical nurse-patient ratios are 1:5-6.
