Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Variable Shifts – Day/Evening (5x8-hour shifts, expected 40 hours/week) or Overnight (7 on/7 off, 10-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a sterile compounding environment utilizing proper aseptic technique
- Prepare and handle IV room medications, including Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
- Support pharmacy operations across day, evening, or overnight shifts within a high-volume hospital setting
- Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing
- Operate within an EMR system (Meditech) to support medication management workflows
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience
- IV room certification required
- Sterile compounding and aseptic technique experience required
- TPN preparation experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Sterile compounding certification
- Experience working in a large, multi-shift hospital pharmacy environment
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar hospital EMR platforms
