Quality Technician

Torito Brands LLC is seeking a Quality Technician to support food safety and product quality across our Latin-inspired product lines. This role conducts routine quality checks on ingredients, in-process products, and finished goods; performs sensory, label, and packaging inspections; and documents test results and nonconformances. The technician supports HACCP, GMP, and SQF or similar programs, assists in root-cause investigations, and partners with production to resolve issues. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting, and excited to help build a high-quality, authentic food brand.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products
• Perform sensory, label, and packaging inspections to ensure specifications are met
• Document test results, deviations, and nonconformances accurately and on time
• Support and uphold HACCP, GMP, and broader food safety and quality programs
• Assist in investigations and root-cause analysis for quality or food safety issues
• Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Calibrate and maintain quality testing equipment and tools
• Support internal audits and preparation for third-party or customer audits
