Store Associate

Position Summary Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, shaping the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities. They help provide a more connected, convenient and compassionate health experience by delivering high‑impact, customer‑focused service in a leading retail setting. Essential Functions Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively resolving potential service issues. Focusing on the customer with a warm greeting, eye contact, and offering assistance in locating additional items. Accurately performing cashier duties—handling cash, checks and credit card transactions in accordance with company policies. Maintaining the sales floor through restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks directed by the store manager. Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed. Providing support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked, operational, and up‑to‑date with services and tools. Assisting pharmacy personnel when required, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and career development opportunities. Embracing and advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Required Qualifications At least 16 years of age. Physical Requirements: Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods. Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly for object movement, including overhead lifting. Visual acuity sufficient for viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts or details. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Working Hours Anticipated weekly hours: 16. Time type: Part time. Compensation Pay range: $17.40 – $17.40 per hour. Actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
