Vice President of Operations (Full‑time) We are currently seeking a full‑time Vice President of Operations to provide asset management and leadership oversight to the assigned portfolio, including property operations, financial performance, compliance, and marketing. Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to Regional Property Managers within their portfolio Stay informed on asset performance by reviewing reports, tracking occupancy, and maintaining appropriate rental pricing Ensure properties are operating within established financial parameters Perform essential management function duties such as hiring, training, coaching, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, development, and employee counseling Oversee the transition of property dispositions or acquisitions Apply risk management procedures and ensure compliance with all regulating agencies Set performance goals and hold the team accountable for meeting expectations Use sound judgement while approving requests within their portfolio Maintain professional working relationships with third parties to include ownership, vendors, inspectors, etc. Ensure transparent communication with ownership/clients Collaborate with all departments to ensure consistent, transparent, and open communication Requirements Minimum of 5 years of supervisory property‑management experience Background in Multifamily Real Estate Proficient with Microsoft suite applications and other relevant software Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Ability to take initiative and work independently Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Effective leadership and development skills Additional Information Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is a leader in the property management industry.
