Property Manager, Multifamily

Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They also motivate high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. Responsibilities Ensure smooth operation in a fast-paced environment, overseeing operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, service contracts, and expense control. Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects, enhancing satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standard and track advertising and client traffic. Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing, cohesive team across leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, maximizing engagement and minimizing turnover. Drive revenues through analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs. Supervise day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Interview, hire, and coach staff as necessary. Maintain resident files in accordance with company standards. Resolve conflicts and follow up to maintain a positive living environment. Manage overall community budget and finances. Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals. Competencies Effective communication and customer service skills. Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation. General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills; excellent oral and written communication. Determine leasing opportunities for staff and set goals to improve performance. Supervise operations and ensure C&W policies and procedures are followed. Be able to manage a team. Perform related duties as required. Education & experience Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Real Estate License preferred. Experience: 3+ years of Property Management experience; 3+ years of Management experience. Work environment This job operates in a professional office environment. It uses standard office equipment and requires travel. Physical demands The employee may need to stand and walk for extended periods, ascend/descend stairs, ladders, or step stools, and travel between buildings in varying weather conditions. The employee must remain stationary for 85% of the time, operate office machinery, and lift up to 25 pounds. Other duties Other duties and responsibilities may change or be assigned at any time.
