About Atlas Villas Memory Care:

Atlas Villas Memory Care is a family-owned, intimate 16-room community in Centerville, MN, dedicated to providing personalized care to residents living with memory loss. Our mission is to create a warm, home-like environment where residents feel supported, respected, and cared for. We are seeking a compassionate On-Call Caregiver to join our dedicated team, providing essential care to our residents as needed.

Position Overview:

As an On-Call Caregiver at Atlas Villas Memory Care, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents by providing care and support when regular staff are unavailable. This position offers flexibility and the chance to work in a compassionate, supportive environment. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor their well-being, and ensure their needs are met with respect and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care Assistance: Help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating, ensuring they are comfortable and treated with dignity.
• Health Monitoring: Observe residents’ health and report any changes in condition to the RN or management team. Provide basic first aid and emergency care as needed.
• Mobility Support: Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility to maintain resident comfort and safety.
• Medication Assistance: Help residents with medication reminders and support as directed by the care plan.
• Companionship & Emotional Support: Provide friendly, compassionate companionship to residents, offering emotional support and engaging in activities that foster well-being.
• Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure that residents’ living areas are clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the care team to ensure continuity of care, and communicate effectively with families and medical staff regarding any concerns.

Qualifications:

Previous caregiving experience in a memory care, assisted living, or similar setting is preferred.

• Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to caregiving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed.
• A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for individuals with memory loss.
