Established Internal Medicine Office seeking a reliable, professional, and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who is fluent in both Spanish and English. Our busy internal medicine practice is dedicated to providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

The Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant will support providers in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an Internal Medical Clinic while communicating effectively with Spanish- and English-speaking patients.

Clinical Duties:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, etc.)
• Document medical history and chief complaints accurately in EMR
• Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures
• Administer injections, vaccines, and medications as directed
• Perform EKGs and other diagnostic testing as needed
• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines

Administrative Duties:

• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Verify insurance and update patient demographics
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
• Assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Coordinate referrals and lab results  

Qualifications

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) – fluent in speaking and writing
• Previous experience in Internal Medicine preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude
