Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 3+ years of experience in Progressive Care Unit, Medical/Surgical, Telemetry required License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact required Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Experience in a Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring required. Comfortable with multiple specialties including Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit. Experience in a very small rural facility preferred. Ability to work independently and adapt quickly. Current and documented skills checklist for Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit. A supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment. Own vehicle required for this assignment. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in Telemetry. Travelers must be comfortable with Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit specialties. Rural experience is preferred due to the small facility size. Candidates must be able to work independently and hit the ground running. The patient population ranges from newborns to geriatrics. The RN to patient ratio is typically 5:1, with higher acuity Progressive Care Unit patients having a ratio of 3:1 or 4:1. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of submission. Requests for time off after submission will not be approved. Work weekends and holidays as needed.
