Assessment & Design Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Assessment & Design Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location. Duties Support multiple risk and control programs for the organization, defining strategy, approach, processes, quality, tools and reporting that provide consistency and excellence. Assess control design effectiveness and remediate potential findings identified in the operational process via a corrective action plan. Work closely with business partners on findings and make recommendations on improving practices. Develop procedural implementation and change management processes with the Operations and Reporting team to ensure proper governance and controls exist. Examine procedures for consistency and gaps relative to regulations in addition to impacts on customer experience. Act as subject matter expert and assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets. Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, escalating and reporting control issues with transparency. Telecommuting or a hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements Five (5) years of experience in operational, market and/or liquidity risk assessments, and a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Enterprise Risk Management, Economics or a related field. Validation and documentation of processes, risks and controls, including methodologies in line with applicable policies and guidelines, to identify and mitigate risks. Identification and mitigation of non‑financial risks that could be present in a company, including operational and compliance risks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, for generating reporting to senior management. Coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including audit, legal, compliance and regulators, to rectify control deficiencies and develop action plans with process owners. Alternative qualification: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, and three (3) years of experience. Pre/post Master’s degree experience also accepted. Full‑time, 40‑hour work week. Compensation Wage Range: $127,962.00 to $152,500.00 per year.
