Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Note: Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position in order to work in a temporary position. All temporary employees are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time. Individuals hired into a temporary State job must be fully qualified for the job. OSHR supports the Governor's Job Ready initiative and seeks to expand a temporary skill set to enhance their qualifications for State government and private sector jobs. Exposure to an agency's culture, process, procedures, and potential learning opportunities can provide valuable experience to those who may seek permanent employment with the state. This temporary position is with NC DHHS - DCFW CDSA, located at 1065 Vinehaven Drive NE, Concord NC, Cabarrus County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This request is for a part-time (25 hours per week) temporary worker with the NC DHHS - Division of Child and Family Well-Being (DCFW), Children's Developmental Services Agencies (CDSA). The selected candidate will play a critical role in maintaining our daily workflow and overall office productivity. The support provided by this position is essential, especially for our direct service staff, primarily service coordinators whose caseloads continue to grow due to increased referrals and enrollments. These rising demands require extensive general office support. The selected candidate for this role will: \* Perform general office duties such as faxing, filling, copying \* Assist with the finalization of evaluation reports for stakeholders such as the child's physician and providers \* Travel to satellite locations to assist staff where there is no daily support \* Assist in coordination of Management's ongoing activities and special projects around staff training and public awareness \* Assist with BEES related tasks, including uploading and integrating pertinent files for existing clients \* and other tasks as directed**Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences****Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification.
