UI/UX Developer

Weber State University is seeking a UI/UX Developer to help design, develop, and maintain the weber.edu website, with a focus on internal pages and site sections. In this role, you will also support university communications and marketing campaigns by creating media-rich, interactive user experiences. What you’ll do Design, develop, and maintain the weber.edu website, particularly internal pages and sections Support university communications and marketing campaigns with media-rich , interactive user experiences What you’ll need Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years) in a related field 3 years of UI/UX design and development experience Skills and tools You will work with HTML , CSS , JavaScript , Photoshop , Illustrator , and Google Analytics . Preferred qualifications Experience with web design, usability, accessibility, and user testing Experience programming/coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards Some experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent graphics programs Proficient technical learner Experience maintaining websites in a content management system Experience with Google Analytics and user experience principles to inform design, development, and maintenance Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work productively both alone and in a team environment Compensation and schedule This onsite position is located in Ogden, UT , with an annual salary that starts at $60,000 and may increase based on candidate qualifications. Remote work may be available for employees who consistently meet performance expectations after completion and approval of an Alternative Work Arrangement Agreement .
