Concrete Laborer

Department: Field Salary: Based on Experience Job Summary Are you a dedicated and hardworking individual looking to start a career in the construction industry? We are currently seeking a motivated Concrete Laborer to join our team at Covenant Concrete Construction LLC. As a Concrete Laborer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our skilled concrete workers in various tasks related to concrete pouring, finishing, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities Assist in the setup of concrete forms and molds before pouring. Mix concrete materials and assist in pouring concrete into designated forms. Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power equipment. Operate power tools such as concrete saws, jackhammers, and vibrators under the guidance of experienced workers. Assist in the installation of rebar and other structural materials. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work area on a regular basis. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines. Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and carrying heavy materials. Qualifications Previous experience in concrete work is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Physical stamina and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions. Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors. Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is a plus. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
