The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant procurement, product planning, and timely delivery of goods. This critical leadership role involves aligning supplier portfolios with business strategy, driving complex contract negotiations, and managing supplier relationships to meet the company's needs. The VP of Supply Chain will also be tasked with championing continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing quality and process improvement methodologies, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. Applicants for the Vice President of Supply Chain position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or materials management, with a preference for an MBA or Master’s in industrial engineering or operations research. A minimum of 20 years' of experience in supply chain and operations planning, including at least 10 years in a senior leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, extensive expertise in global supply chain and operations planning, and a proven track record in sourcing and procurement for government programs. Experience with US export control regulations, various contract types, and a background in regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or healthcare is essential.
