Customs Compliance CoordinatorWe are looking to fill this Entry Level position with a motivated and reliable individual; preferably with a background in Aviation or Customer Service and who is a great communicator. Using relevant tools and communication skills, will recognize, coordinate, and resolve daily issues the Kalitta Air fleet may encounter related to customs, immigration, and military base access.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSubmit EAPIS for International flights to TSA and Customs and Border ProtectionAudit EAPIS submissions for accurate informationProcess jumpseat requests and get jumpseat approval from FAAMaintain the TSA master crew list for the entire airlineWill update various vendors with changes and requests for information.Coordinate with U.S. Customs and Border Protection to foresee and respond to any concerns they may have, including published regulations and local operating procedures.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.Preferred QualificationsAviation background or schooling preferredCollege graduate preferred and/or technical school, or military service desirable; past job experience in a similar field will also be considered.Experience in communicating with government and local officialsHave the ability to maintain and keep current with documentation for record-keeping.Ability to learn US Geography is a top priorityWorldwide ZULU and LOCAL time awarenessAbility to interact effectively, assertively, and with other departments in the Kalitta Air Operations Center.Computer literacy with Microsoft suite.Demonstrate the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measureLanguage SkillsDemonstrate through the interview process the capability to speak, read and write the English language.
