Responsibilities Manage a team of software engineers or projects within the Search and Look Up department Review product requirement documents Problem‑solve and work on high‑level operational or architectural issues to ensure product effectiveness Implement and track development timelines, and negotiate feature sets with development leads and product teams Set goals and mentor development of ongoing projects Provide guidance and direction on software design and implementation Review code changes and submissions Present technical and operational issues to senior management, setting deadlines and priorities for team members Coordinate recruiting, training, and new hire onboarding for the team Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field Minimum 2 years of software engineering industry experience Experience with C#, .NET Framework, Python, SQL (MS SQL Server), Perl, JavaScript, Bash/Shell scripting, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch Experience with AWS services: S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Parameter Store, Aurora & RDS, Step Functions, EventBridge, Kinesis, Firehose Experience with ETL Pipelines, Linux, Windows, SSH (PuTTY, WSL), Kibana, Grafana Full software development life cycle experience Salary $135,000 to $165,000 EEO Statement Qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by law.
