Role Description The Branch Manager role at World Finance is a full-time, on-site position located in Dothan, AL. In this role, the Branch Manager oversees daily branch operations, including managing staff, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining customer relationships, evaluating and processing personal loan applications, and coordinating tax-related services where applicable. The Branch Manager is expected to lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales and collections goals, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture. This role also involves training and coaching team members, managing branch budgets, and contributing to local community outreach initiatives. Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising or coaching team members in a customer-facing environment. Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to build trust, explain financial products clearly, and handle sensitive customer situations professionally. Basic financial, sales, and collections skills, with the ability to evaluate loan applications, manage cash handling, and meet branch performance targets. Organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. Proficiency with common office software and point-of-sale or financial systems; comfort learning new digital tools as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is a plus. Previous experience in consumer finance, banking, retail management, or a similar field is preferred but not required.
