Assignment Duration

This is a contract position with a duration of 8 to 12 weeks.

Schedule

Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30, including weekends as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides patient care and support in accordance with established standards and regulations. This position requires active participation in the care of patients, which may involve floating to various facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to therapy.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care.
• Document patient information and care accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active NBRC certification and BLS certification required at the time of submission.
• Must possess an active Ohio RRT license.
• References from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required for submission.
