Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of adult RT-ICU experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based respiratory therapy position treating adult patients
• Requires floor care and ICU experience
• 12-hour night shifts, 7PM-7AM
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend rotation every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Overtime must be pre-approved

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• Minimum 2 years of adult respiratory therapy experience
• ICU experience required
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ACLS certification (AHA)
• Florida RT license required if applicable
• Florida license must be in hand prior to start
• 2 weeks notice required for scheduling

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care services to adult patients in an ICU setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates
• No radius rule for candidate eligibility
• Former permanent employees must have separated from the facility for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Two doses of COVID-19 vaccine required or an approved declination; booster not currently required
