CRT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician Nights

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician working night shifts in a well-established regional medical center serving the Southeast United States. This role involves delivering comprehensive respiratory care services following departmental protocols, responding promptly to resuscitation and respiratory emergencies, and maintaining accurate patient and departmental documentation.

Education

Must hold a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license issued by the state Respiratory Care Board. BCLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Experience and Requirements

Applicants should have a solid understanding of medical terminology and current respiratory care techniques. The ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations, including emergencies, is essential. Knowledge of psychosocial, physiological, and spiritual needs across all age groups-from infants to adults-is necessary to provide appropriate care and interventions.

Strong communication skills, manual dexterity for equipment operation, visual acuity, and physical stamina to stand, walk, position patients, and move heavy equipment are required. The role may involve exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials.

New hires must obtain Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials within 36 months to maintain employment.
