Convention Services Manager

The Marriott Seattle Airport has an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Convention Services Manager. The Convention Services Manager (CSM) is the primary liaison between clients and the venue, responsible for coordinating conventions, conferences, and large meetings. They manage event logistics, execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and ensure all client needs—such as catering, audio-visual setups, and room blocks—are seamlessly met. Responsibilities: • Event Execution: Translate client requirements into detailed BEOs and Group Resumes, distributing them to the appropriate hotel or venue departments. • Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for meeting planners, conduct site inspections, and host pre- and post-convention meetings. • Logistics Management: Coordinate room setups, food and beverage needs, A/V requirements, and VIP amenities. • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Banquet, Front Office, and Operations teams to ensure guest room blocks, billing, and event spaces are properly managed. • Quality Assurance: Monitor event spaces prior to and during the event, troubleshoot issues on the floor, and strive to maximize guest satisfaction scores. Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related experience. • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in hotel operations, event management, or conference services. • Skills: Strong multitasking and organizational abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency with software like Delphi or other event management systems. Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 yearly

Compensation:
$60,000-$80,000 per year
