Porter Lonnie's Bar — Brooklyn, NY Full Time • Hourly ($20.00 - $24.00) About the Role Lonnie's Bar is looking for a dependable, hardworking Porter to help keep our space clean, stocked, and running smoothly. This is a behind-the-scenes role that's essential to daily operations — you'll be the person making sure the bar looks great and runs efficiently before, during, and after service. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of the entire venue, including bar area, dining area, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces Take out trash and recycling regularly; break down and manage disposal of boxes, kegs, and bottles Sweep, mop, and deep-clean floors, including spills during service Restock bar and kitchen supplies as needed (napkins, straws, paper goods, cleaning supplies) Assist with basic maintenance tasks and report any equipment or facility issues to management Help set up and break down the space for private events as needed Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout the shift Support bar and kitchen staff with light lifting and moving supplies as needed Qualifications Prior porter, custodial, or general labor experience a plus but not required Reliable and punctual — this role is critical to daily operations running smoothly Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods Comfortable working evenings/nights and weekends Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $24.00) Required Skills Dependability Hardworking Attention to Detail Time Management Teamwork Adaptability Problem Solving Communication Skills Quince & Co.
