Assitant Pastor

We are seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) full-time assistant pastor who affirms the BFM 2000, has between 6 to 10 years of pastoral experience, is a graduate of an evangelical seminary—preferably a Southern Baptist seminary— or has at least seminary-level theological education, and is married. Key Responsibilities Share in preaching duties during regular services as assigned. Lead Bible studies and discipleship classes. Visit members in hospitals and homes. Provide biblical and pastoral counseling to individuals and families. Support and lead specific ministries according to the church’s needs. Train and supervise volunteers and ministry leaders. Be willing to work as part of a team. Collaborate in planning church events and programs. Support general administration and maintain communication with the congregation. Key Skills Biblical preaching, study, and teaching. Leadership and mentoring of ministry teams. Pastoral counseling and congregational care. Clear and effective communication of the Word. A Christlike lifestyle and solid Christian testimony. Compensation and Benefits Estimated starting salary: $70,000 annually.
