We are seeking a Dental Assistant to support our dentist and patients by preparing treatment areas, maintaining a safe clinical environment, assisting during procedures, and helping ensure accurate, compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
- Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Obtain and develop dental radiographs as directed.
- Maintain accurate dental charts and electronic health records.
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection-control protocols.
- Educate patients on treatment procedures and oral-health practices.
- Communicate professionally with patients and the dental team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in dental assisting.
- Experience with four-handed dentistry.
- Knowledge of dental radiography and instrument sterilization.
- Understanding of infection-control practices.
- Experience with dental charting and electronic health records.
- Strong patient-education and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail. We are a small, warm, and friendly clinic excited to add another assistant. We have just one dentist who is well-liked by our amazing staff and our wonderful patients!
