Weekend Material Handler

A Material Handler performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.

• Shift: 12:30AM - 9:30PM, Saturday & Sundays
• Pay: $16.60 + 10% shift differential = $18.26

Responsibilities: * Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.

• Cut open boxed inventory in the storage area or on the rack.
• Place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack.
• Walk the length of the flow rack.
• Wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle-free.
• Assist with labeling, tagging, or color-coding wrapped cords as needed for

easy identification.

• Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
• Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and

promptly for documentation purposes.

• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic computer ability.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.

Preferred Skills & Experience: * Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus * Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff

• Written and verbal communication skills

Educational Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent work experience Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Warehouse environment
• Stand dynamically for long periods
• Use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch

with fingers, seize, hold, grasp or turn with hands

• Lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Push and/or pull up to fifty (50) pounds
• Reach up and out with hands and arms
• Occasionally required to climb stairs or ladders
