Quick Facts Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855 Start Date: 07/30/2026 Duration: Ongoing with specific assignment dates as needed Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (occasional night and weekend call) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Employed practice Licensure/Certs: Active Medical License in Michigan (or eligibility) Experience: Preferably 1+ years in Hematology/Oncology Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits Include: Competitive pay package Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consultation and management Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including genetic counselors, radiology, and research staff Participate in weekly tumor board meetings and utilize EMR systems (ONCO EMR) Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans Educate patients and families on diagnosis and therapy options Support inpatient consults as needed, primarily outpatient care focused Contribute to maintaining and enhancing accreditation standards and quality metrics What You Need Michigan Medical License or eligibility to obtain Board Certification or Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology is preferred Key skills: Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care focus Experience with EMR systems, ideally ONCO EMR About the Assignment This position is based at a well-established facility in Marquette, Michigan, renowned for delivering comprehensive cancer care and utilizing a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach.
