This is a heavy production role responsible for assisting with day-to-day production operations, helping lead production staff, and ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure production operates in a safe, environmentally compliant, and efficient mannerMonitor production processes continuously and adjust schedules or resources as neededMaintain strict quality control standards and ensure compliance with company policiesUse production metrics to identify trends, drive improvements, and maximize uptime, throughput, and profitabilityOptimize workflow, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency while reducing wasteCollaborate closely with leadershipTrack daily production performanceEnsure production equipment is operated correctly, and preventative maintenance activities are executedPartner with site leadership to drive best-in-class operational resultsRequired Skills/AbilitiesProven ability to succeed in a demanding, high-volume production environment; strong mechanical aptitudeDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop frontline production teamsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel for production tracking and reportingAbility to manage multiple priorities while focusing resources on high-value workGeneral understanding of OSHA regulationsComfortable working alongside teams on the production floor for most of the dayAbility to foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environmentEducation and ExperienceProven history of strong safety performance (low TRIR and LTIR)Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and move for extended periods; ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds independently; ability to work in varying temperatures, around moving mechanical equipment, and in environments with moderate to high noise levels.Liberty Tire Recycling is an equal opportunity employer.
