Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Real Estate Public Finance Associate or Senior Associate with 3+ years of experience to join their team in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will have a background in public finance, including tax‑exempt bond issuances and tax incentive transactions. Duties Advise clients on public finance matters, including tax‑exempt bond issuances. Participate in tax incentive transactions such as bonds‑for‑title and PILOT programs. Collaborate with team members on commercial real estate projects. Engage in federal tax and energy/solar‑related transactions as needed. Requirements 3+ years of experience in public finance. Experience with tax‑exempt bond issuances and tax incentive transactions. Commercial real estate, federal tax, or energy/solar experience preferred. Excellent academic credentials. Strong verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Proficiency in public finance and real estate law. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Benefits Comprehensive health insurance.
