Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:


- Deliver exceptional nursing care for assigned patients based on established standards.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all duties.

Essential Functions:


- Collect relevant health data from patients to inform care plans.
- Analyze assessments and determine diagnoses and care issues.
- Develop and implement care plans aimed at achieving positive patient outcomes.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Provide learning opportunities for patients, families, and team members.
- Engage in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team.

Qualifications:


- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification required.
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required.
