Construction Project Manager – K-12 / Commercial ConstructionA well-established Texas commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee major K-12 school construction, renovation, and addition projects in the Copperas Cove area. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with experience managing large-scale commercial, educational, municipal, or public-sector construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Project Manager will work closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.Construction Project Manager ResponsibilitiesManage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeoutOversee project schedules, budgets, cost controls, and overall project performanceCoordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and field teamsManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, contracts, and project documentationLead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and communicate project progress to key stakeholdersPartner with Superintendents and field leadership on project planning and executionEnsure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligationsIdentify potential project risks and proactively resolve schedule, budget, and construction challengesBuild strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholdersMentor project and field staff while supporting overall team developmentQualifications5+ years of commercial construction project management experienceExperience managing projects for a general contractor (GC) strongly preferredK-12 school construction, education, municipal, government, or public-sector construction experience preferredExperience with renovations, additions, ground-up construction, or large capital improvement programsStrong knowledge of construction schedules, budgets, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change managementExcellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven construction environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management softwareValid driver's licenseCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based project bonusMonthly vehicle/truck allowanceCompany gas cardPaid holidays and PTOCompany-provided technologyProfessional development and advancement opportunities
