Job Description
The Inside Salesperson plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by following up on leads, collaborating effectively with the outside sales team, and assisting customers with quotes on special orders. This position focuses on upselling and cross-selling products and services to existing clients while maintaining accurate sales reporting and account management.
Responsibilities
- Order custom products from vendors
- Generate sales quotes, orders and invoices for customers
- Follow up with clients to nurture relationships and secure repeat business
- Manage and update client accounts efficiently
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in sales
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer service orientation and product knowledge of lumber and building supplies
- Proficient in data entry
