This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that's constantly evolving.Main ResponsibilitiesDeliver friendly, courteous, and professional customer service as a primary point of contact.Lead, train, schedule, and supervise Starbucks clerks to ensure appropriate staffing and performance.Drive department results by increasing sales, improving profitability, and controlling costs.Oversee daily Starbucks operations, including beverage preparation, order fulfillment, and customer transactions.Manage inventory, place orders, conduct counts, and rotate products to ensure freshness and availability.Ensure compliance with company, Starbucks corporate, food safety, and audit requirements.Maintain accurate required logs, including temperature and compliance documentation.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized café environment and work area.We are looking for candidates who possess the following:Soft SkillsStrong customer focus with the ability to resolve complaints and service concerns professionally.Effective verbal communication with customers, team members, and leadership.Leadership and coaching skills to motivate, train, and guide employees.Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.Sound judgment and accountability when working independently.Adaptability and willingness to take on varied responsibilities.CompetenciesRetail and food service operations management.Team supervision, training, and workforce scheduling.Cash handling, register operation, and basic cash-office functions.Inventory control, ordering, and shrink awareness.Compliance monitoring and audit readiness.Visual merchandising and café presentation.Knowledge and AbilitiesKnowledge of coffee and tea preparation methods, equipment, and beverage recipes.Ability to memorize drink formulas, PLU codes, and operating procedures.Working knowledge of food safety requirements and certifications.Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.Ability to multitask, stay focused, and work under pressure.Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, and perform repetitive tasks during shifts.Flexibility to work varied shifts in a 24-hour retail operation.Albertsons Companies is at the forefront of the revolution in retail.
