Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients throughout the labor and delivery process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor using fetal heart monitoring
- Operate independently as the sole L&D nurse on the night shift
- Support an average of approximately 36 births per month
- Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in OB/Labor & Delivery nursing
- Ability and comfort working as the sole L&D nurse on shift
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience in a low-volume or independent L&D setting
