Travel Physical Therapist - $1,756 per week

Job Summary Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Grand Island, Nebraska. Schedule & Start Date Start Date: ASAP – 13 weeks, 8‑hour days, 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized equipment safely and maintain proper calibration. Assess progress, adjust plans, and document evaluations and outcomes accurately. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other clinicians to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment, adhering to infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education. Assist in discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions to community or home settings. Required Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Experience in physical therapy (new graduates welcome). Additional certifications or licenses may be required. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; basic PC skills.
