Overview Software Engineering III positions in the Technology division; Director & Associate level roles focused on developing and maintaining software solutions to meet business needs. Department Profile Wealth Management Product Technology (WMPT) is a dynamic area within the Firm’s Technology Division, responsible for creating innovative solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), providing cash management and lending products to WM clients. Position Description As part of the WMPT team, we are looking for a Java developer with backend service experience to design and implement industry‑leading applications. The role requires expertise in multi‑tiered Java EE‑style applications, Spring, databases, and related Java development tools. The candidate will interface regularly with other IT teams, understand the banking technology landscape, and provide creative solutions that integrate capabilities and adapt to changing business requirements. What you’ll do in the role Work in an Agile Squad as a full‑stack developer Review code and contribute to design discussions. Ensure high quality of deliverables while enforcing development best practices. Adhere to application development guidelines and help improve them. Understand and implement security guidelines and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve errors or critical issues. Mentor junior developers and share knowledge with the team. Demonstrate features built as part of the sprint to business stakeholders. Actively contribute and participate in sprint grooming, planning, daily stand‑ups, and Agile ceremonies. Work on PoCs to adopt newer technologies and frameworks.
